FAQ
The things business owners ask us most, before and after they start. If yours isn’t here, email info@vantice.co.uk and a human will answer.
01 Pricing
Yes, always. We never touch your ad budget or take a cut of it. You pay Google directly for clicks; you pay us to build and run the campaigns well.
Most clients we work with spend £500–£900 a month with Google on top of our fee, but the right number depends on your services, your area and your competition. We’ll recommend a realistic figure in your free review, before you commit to anything.
Because of what the alternative rewards. Agencies that charge a percentage of your ad spend earn more when you spend more, whether or not your phone rings. Our fee only grows when the leads do, which keeps our incentives aligned with yours.
A genuine enquiry about work you actually do: a tracked call or form from someone in your area asking about your services. Job-seekers, sales calls, wrong numbers and out-of-area enquiries don’t count, and you’re never charged for them.
02 Tracking & results
Call tracking. Visitors who arrive from an ad see a different phone number, one that rings your normal line but records the search that brought them in. Forms are tracked the same way. So when we say your ads produced 34 calls last month, that’s counted, not estimated.
Still counted. Tracking holds a visitor’s details for weeks after the click, so the user who researched on Tuesday and rang the following Friday is attributed to the right campaign. This matters more than most expect, because customers sit on bigger jobs before committing.
Ads start showing as soon as campaigns go live, and the first enquiries typically arrive within the first couple of weeks. Judging performance properly takes longer: a month or two of data is what lets us see which keywords produce jobs and push budget towards them. That’s also why we don’t need a long contract — you’ll see for yourself whether it’s working.
What you spent, what came in, and what each enquiry cost — in plain English. And you don’t have to wait for it: your account manager will answer any question, any time.
03 Getting started
You’ll hear back within one working day to arrange a discovery call. We talk through your goals and your market, then send a written proposal: a summary of the call, a growth plan for the year ahead, and a secure payment link. Once that’s agreed, tracking goes in, campaigns are built, and you’ll know your go-live date before we start.
A small tracking tag, and we handle it. Either we install it directly or we send your web developer a short set of instructions. It takes minutes and won’t slow your site down.
Yes, and it’s often the best starting point, because the history in your account tells us what’s already been tried. In your free review we’ll go through the account and tell you honestly what’s working and what could be better.
We work with local service businesses — trades, automotive, health, legal and financial practices among them. The honest test is simpler than any list: if your customers search Google when they need you, ads can work. If we don’t think they will for you, we’ll say so in the review.
04 Leaving
No. Month to month, cancel any time. You should only be paying if it’s working for you.
You can cancel any month. There’s no contract keeping you in if it’s not working. The free review will also give you a realistic idea, before you spend a penny, of what a monthly budget for your services and area should return.
Everything we built stays with you: the campaigns, the keyword lists, the conversion history. It all lives in your account from day one. We lose access, you keep the lot.
